Our history

Our story is family
and authenticity

In 1944, Napoléon and Adrienne Breton invested their passion for farming into a new enterprise founded on their character and values: pride, confidence and responsibility. As other companies were acquired and developed, the group Breton Tradition 1944 grew to become a flagship in Canada’s agri food industry.

Today, duBreton products are distributed internationally and duBreton standards are benchmarks in the pork farming and processing industry. Vincent Breton, third-generation president, still shares with his team the company’s founding values: respect for nature, respect for animals and, most importantly, respect for customers and consumers.
