Bourbon-onion grilled pork chops

Ingredients


6 duBreton center cut pork chops, bone-in (French style), about 1,5 cm (1/2-inch) thick
190 ml (3/4 cup) bourbon
65 ml (1/4 cup) soy sauce
65 ml (1/4 cup) brown sugar
1 large yellow onion, sliced
45 ml (3 tbsp.) Dijon-style mustard
15 ml (1 tbsp.) Worcestershire sauce
  1. Place pork chops in large self-sealing bag; combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
  2. Seal bag and refrigerate at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Prepare medium-hot fire in grill
  4. Remove chops from marinade (discard marinade) and grill over direct heat for 7 minutes, until nicely browned; turn and brown other side, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  5. Serve hot from grill.
