Garlic pork with szechuan pepper

Ingredients


2 whole duBreton pork tenderloins, cut into 0,5 cm x 2,5 cm (1/4 x 2-inch) strips
2 garlic cloves, crushed
30 ml (2 tbsp.) grated fresh gingerroot
30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
10 ml (1 tsp.) crushed red pepper
65 ml (1/4 cup) vegetable oil
10 ml (1 tsp.) salt
5 ml (1/2 tsp.) freshly ground black pepper
65 ml (1/4 cup) dry sherry
1 package 225 g (7-8 ounces) rice noodles, prepared according to package directions
  1. In large bowl toss together pork, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, red pepper, oil, salt and pepper.
  2. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.
  3. Heat heavy skillet over high heat; add pork mixture.
  4. Stir well and sauté until pork is firm and cooked, about 3 minutes.
  5. Stir in sherry; simmer for 1 minute.
  6. Serve with rice noodles.
