SAINT-BERNARD, Quebec, September 2026 - duBreton innovates the pâté aisle with three new flavors, Cranberry Country-Style, Maple & Onion Liver and Old-Fashion Liver, available now at participating IGA stores. The new resealable packaging brings flexibility to a familiar ritual. The smaller 125 g format makes it easy to bring pâté into more everyday eating occasions, whether for breakfast, a quick snack, lunch, apéro or as part of a larger spread.
“Pâté is part of Quebec food culture, so we weren’t interested in changing what people love about it,” said Vincent Breton, President. “We saw an opportunity to bring duBreton’s approach to the category: organic pork, responsible farming standards, real ingredients and a convenient format with flavors that work for modern shoppers.”
Each recipe has its own character. Cranberry Country-Style combines duBreton pork with real dried cranberries for a bright, tart contrast. Maple & Onion Liver is made with real organic maple syrup and grilled onion, balancing sweet and savory flavor. Old-Fashion Liver stays close to tradition with a smooth texture and straightforward seasoning.
Across the line, the pork is certified organic and humanely raised on duBreton’s family-owned farms, without antibiotics, added hormones, cloning or gene-editing techniques. The products are GMO Free and carry Gluten & Allergen Free claims.
