Ingredients
- 500g of gnocchi
- 1/2 Butternut squash, peeled and cut into cubes
- Meat from 4 DuBreton mild Italian sausages, broken into pieces
- 60ml (1/4 cup) of butter
- A few sage leaves
- Grated pecorino or parmesan cheese
Preparations
- Preheat the oven to 425 °F.
- Place the gnocchi, squash cubes, and sausage meat on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the butter. Melt it, then add the sage leaves and cook for 1-2 minutes. Remove and set aside the butter.
- Serve the gnocchi, topped with the butter, grated cheese, and sage leaves.
